Bluestone - Bluestone treads are cut and sawn from the same quarries as our bluestone flagging. Treads are cut to size, and flamed by using water and heat. This process gives the top and edges of the tread a textured feel and look. For an additional costs, treads can also be finished with a rock faced or bull nosed edge.

• Generally used for caps or steps

• Stock thickness is 2"

• 3", 4", and 6" thickness available by special order

• Stock lengths vary from 36" - 96"

Special Order Treads - Special order treads are available in sizes up to 48" x 96" with a thickness range from 2", 3", 4", and 6". Customers need to present templates, and scaled drawings as to size, shape, and edging details.

Granite - Granite treads are available in 2 different colors, salt & pepper and Caledonia. The Caledonia granite comes from Canada and generally contains browns, grays, and black colors. The salt & pepper is white with black specs and comes from both China and South America. Both are standard with rock faced finish to the edges.

Granite Steps and Landings - Granite steps and landings are also available in Caledonia and salt & pepper colors. All our steps are 7" thick (top to bottom) and 13" deep (front to back) and stocked in lengths from 36" to 96". The landings are also 7" thick and are stocked at 36" x 36", 36" x 48", and 36" x 60".

Limestone - Limestone is quarried in the United States from the quarries of Indiana. It will vary in color from tan-buff to light blue gray. Limestone has been used extensively in building projects for over 100 years because of its uniform texture and soft tones. All our Limestone treads are 2" thick, available depths are 12", 14" 18" 20", and 24" and in widths from 36" to 96".

Pennsylvania Stepping Stones - These stones are the stepping stone version of the Pennsylvania wallstone. They work very well in planting beds and walkways and can be ordered large enough to be actual steps. Pallets can come with as little as 3 to 4 pieces or as many as 15 to 20 pieces, depending on the needs of the customer, both are normally stocked. They are sold by the ton or pound.
